The story of these travels began in 2004 when Phil noticed a ‘small ad’ in the back of a magazine – “Wanted. People to share our journey from U.K. to Capetown!” Never did get to Capetown (yet) – but that’s another story. However, the next seven months had the opportunity to visit and experience much of West Africa.
It's an ongoing adventure. 2007 saw a journey through Turkey, Central Asia, Russia and to Mongolia, then on Eastwards to South Korea.

Website I hope, is easy to navigate, on the left are links for each journey and it's corresponding pages. To the right are quick jump links to latest pages, direct to pics or text.
You should find 'diary pages', of course many photographs, videos, relevant radio programmes, garmin tracks/waypoints for downloading, live google earth map of routes, etc. I am still learning all this HTML stuff, do please let me know if you spot anything not working or which doesn't quite look right. I'd appreciate any comments be they good or bad !
